Background
Amanda Lewandowski is a Software Engineer with a passion for integrating AI into custom software to solve complex problems. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science with minors in Software Engineering and Studio Art from South Dakota State University. At BrightApps, Amanda is responsible for assessing client needs, establishing deliverables, and creating and maintaining custom software systems.
Amanda develops software using natural language processing (NLP) and AI to create different types of models and solutions for the challenges clients bring to her. She is proficient across Python, C#, and Go, and specializes in machine learning areas including NLP, large language models (LLM), text embeddings, and text classification.
Recently, Amanda has incorporated NLP and text embeddings with AI to improve efficiency and scalability, supporting systems that handle thousands of daily requests. Her future aspirations focus on architecting comprehensive solutions — breaking client requests into actionable deliverables and iterating her approach to ensure successful outcomes.
